Kelsey Simpson

During my probationary year, I taught at early and first level in a primary four class. This involved preparing and completing SNSA’s with learners. Completing a month on supply this year, I had the opportunity to work across various stages from primary one to seven in a variety of settings. For the remainder of this academic year I have had responsibility for a primary six class working from early to second level. This year I have succeeded in preparing my class for the responsibilities in primary seven and also in secondary school. I have also worked to create bids for enhanced transition to secondary school for some of my pupils. For both classes I have had sole responsibility for creating yearly reports and biannual parents evenings. I have experience working alongside outside agencies such as educational psychologists, social work and central support team.
