I am a patient, kind, and approachable teacher with a calm ethos and good sense of humour. I am committed to helping all children reach their full potential and work hard to help them achieve their goals. I have always believed that building strong relationships with children and their families is the best way to ensure success.

I have worked in school settings and the education system for over 10 years and have a wide range of skills and experiences that I bring to my tutoring practice. I have worked across the whole Primary age range, from Reception right through to Year 6, where I have spent the majority of my career. I have an in depth knowledge of the Year 6 SATS tests and writing moderation. I also understand expectations for the Year 2 SATS, the Year 1 Phonics screening as well as the Year 4 multiplication check. I have previous experience of tutoring children in Year 3, 4 and 5.

I offer 1:1 online tuition across the Primary age range and like to keep my sessions as interactive as possible so that your child will stay engaged throughout and will enjoy their sessions. I will start by assessing their understanding and current attainment level and then plan the sessions to address any gaps or misconceptions that may have arisen. I can also use the sessions to pre-teach knowledge that will be upcoming at school so that they are able to get a head start on a their learning and accelerate in the classroom.
