I'm Kelly, an experienced primary school TA with over 6 years of experience and I am now studying towards my teaching degree. Wahooou!

Here's my experience and what I specialise in:
* Primary school age children from 5 to 11 years old.
* SEN ( Special Educational Needs) ADHD, autism.
* Maths and English support
* Phonics trained
* Behavioural strategies
* Learning strategies
* English as a second language
* French, spanish and portuguese speaker.

I have experience working with varied types of learners and in different settings which means I can adapt very easily to my students and environment.

The way I work is very particular, I include movements in my lessons to create a flow in the lesson and for more enjoyment. From experience, I know how long and tiring it can feel to be sitting in a chair for a long period of time so having movements is really important and it helps with students engagement.
I also like to include games at the start of the lesson and at the end, to help my students retain more easily and for them to have fun whilst learning.

For me it's listening attentively to find the right approach and guiding my students accordingly that makes tutoring succesful.
I believe in trying different methods with an open mind to find the one that works for each individual learner.
