Hello!

I am a qualified primary school teacher with several years of experience teaching in primary schools and special educational needs schools.

I have a creative, dynamic and engaging teaching style, focusing on incorporating children's interests and active learning to engage younger children.

I offer tutoring in all areas of the UK primary (KS1 and 2) curriculum. I am also able to offer 11+ tutoring. I have specialist training in phonics and early reading skills. I have a proven track record helping students pass the new Year 1 and 2 phonics screening test. I am also able to offer phonics and early reading tutoring to older children needing to close gaps.

I offer tutoring for primary school age children or older students with special educational needs. I have experience teaching students with additional needs, in particular autism and ADHD. I am trained in various methods to support these learners including the SCERTs, zones of regulation and TEACCH approaches. I am also able to communicate with students using makaton sign supported language where needed.
