My teaching format is a combination of presentations and exam questions, designed in an engaging and digestible manner, with the latter task used to reinforce and support the application of the learned knowledge. To start however, specifically during exam seasons, I like for students to complete a past/specimen paper, so to identify the areas that need work and we can hone on in those during the sessions.
With my degree in Psychology, I have an advanced breadth of content, evaluation points and insights into research methods (one of the more challenging parts of the subject!), that I can always pull on to simplify and extend your understanding of any challenging areas. Further, I am a brilliant researcher, and if there is anything I cannot answer at the time, I will commit my efforts to finding that for you, so that there are no gaps in your knowledge.
I will also provide revision techniques, and exam tips that I have learnt through my own academic journey that enabled me to excel in Psychology, and will give you an opportunity to exercise these in exam-style tasks, as a means to improve your time management and comfortability in written answers, especially those of research design, as I have practical experience in this area. I can also provide, upon request, revision materials that can be used outside of the sessions.
My approach to learning and revision enabled me to achieve an A at A-level and enter into one of the most prestigious universities in the world. I have the work ethic and dedication to education needed to deliver on your academic aspirations.
