My lessons are all taught from the AQA syllabus. We'll use practise exam questions, ranging from multiple choice, to 9/16 mark answers (evaluation is your key to success). Quizzes are important, and useful for retaining information up until your GCSE period - relaying information, and speaking about what you've learnt, is the best way to keep your knowledge fresh.
Small pieces of homework will be assigned, and marked (3/4 mark questions), alongside being given feedback. This will build up your basic knowledge of answer-structure, which is entirely applicable to everything else.
I have my two books used to get me a grade 7 in the 2023 GCSE exam season, and will refer to those notes, alongside past exam papers and extracts.
