My preferred method of teaching is for students to come with a topic or question that they have in mind, and to slowly work through that, and maybe working on different types of questions based on that topic. I think one of the best ways to fully solidify your knowledge is by practicing as many questions as possible! If you are unsure of what you want me to teach, I can pick a random topic and work through some questions with you, answering any questions you may have to the best of my ability.
I can also relate to feeling overwhelmed or unsure when it comes to maths - believe me even now I get frustrated at problems I can't solve! But one thing that I have learnt over the years is to not give up, and even when something seems impossible, all it takes is seeing it from the right perspective for it to click - a feeling that I for sure experience almost every day.
I am quite new to tutoring, especially formally, so this is a learning experience for me as well! Please feel free to let me know what I can do in the future in order to make your experience as good as possible. I strive to make sure that students not only understand topics, but feel confident that they can answer any question to the best of their ability, and maybe enjoy the process along the way as well (Maths doesn't have to be a chore!)
