I am happy to communicate online for your 1-1 sessions via Zoom or Microsoft Teams. I will start with a free consultation with the student to get an idea of your learning level and specific learning requirements. This means I can conduct lesson plans tailored to each of my students individually and focus on YOU. We can also discuss the curriculum in which you are using in classes, so we can also have to practise the same materials outside of school/classes. This is so we don't waste time learning anything that isn't on your curriculum! Depending on each students individual needs and learning capabilities, I will use a mixture of PowerPoints, videos and presentations to help tutor my students, as I have found it is easier for students to follow along when they can see the lesson on the screen. Alongside these methods, I will also refer to certain books or online materials the student will be able to access themselves. I will be available at all times by email my students need any help outside of session times.
Of course, the lesson plans always depend on the person and what is best for you! If you are unhappy with any of the ways the lesson is being presented, you can let me know so we can switch it up!
If students are local to my area (Meppershall, Bedfordshire), I am also happy to offer face to face sessions, however there will be just a slight increase in price to cover any travel etc.
