I am an experienced education professional, with over 10 years experience working in schools within London.

Over these years, I have spent an equal amount of time working in both primary and secondary schools as a teaching assistant and academic mentor. During this time, I have supported students from year 1 up to year 11 with both English and Maths.

What to expect from my lessons:
I aim to keep my lessons structured into 3 key elements which are explained below.

Firstly, I start with assessment. I believe it is important to know the level each student is working at before anything else.

Secondly, I would focus on the teaching. I like to vary my teaching style depending on the age and understanding of my students. But one thing that I keep constant during this section is that I like to provide a variety of examples to my students which help to build understanding of a topic.

Finally, I always aim to get my students to practice during my lessons. This can be in the form of activities and questions to allow my students to practice what they have learnt and become confident learners.
