I was teaching other students around my course and students of younger age for Biology and English.
My main method is making complicated topics and words to be more simple for our understanding and then associating the original material and words with something that we already have in our mind to be able to bring these topics up from memory later on.
My lessons are interactive, and I always expect a student to communicate with me back to understand the progress or areas that we should work on more.
I am very passionate about Biology as many processes in our organism overlap or affect each other, and I always try to support newly learned information with something that my student already knew to make a stronger understanding of the overall picture.
I am very honest, caring, kind and patient tutor. I always appreciate any progress that the student makes, even if it looks very small it's still significant that he/she improves. I have an individual approach to everyone, as we are all different - our learning approach should differ, some students are visual learners, whereas others can be auditory, kinesthetic or reading learners. As knowledge can't come with force, I always show my students what is so interesting and special about the material that they are going to learn with me today.
I prepare the plan of the lesson based on the students aims, if it is lesson to improve school grades or exam preparation the I ask to provide me with the material that teachers give, to analyse what sort of information do they expect from student. But if it is biology lessons for personal interest, then I need to know which areas would the student like to learn about to prepare the lesson.
