I offer GERMAN CONVERSATION CLASSES for students who wish to improve their German language skills, whether for business, school or university, or for an upcoming holiday in Germany.

I also offer GERMAN LITERATURE READING CLASSES for students who want to read classical (or modern) German texts, novels, plays and poems with me and talk about writers, storylines and characters. I can also help with critical analyses of any texts for school or university exams and projects.

Choose from three options:

1. Simple conversation classes for beginners to intermediate students (basic phrases): General or Business

2. More sophisticated conversation classes for intermediate to advanced students: General or Business

3. German classical literature reading classes for pleasure or serious study: Specific German Literature Interest or Exam Preparation

I am a German native speaker with teaching experience at the famous Berlitz language school in London. I am UK-based with 47 years of speaking English as a foreign language. I am a qualified Foreign Language Correspondent and have been translating and interpreting English to German and German to English for many years.

I teach German in an informal setting and through 1:1 conversation. It would be helpful for you to have a basic grasp of the language so that we can build your German vocabulary, fluency and confidence from there.
