I am a student at the University of Sunderland pursuing a degree in Accounting and Finance. I got an A in A Level Economics. I was an assistant teacher at my previous high school and taught Business Economics. In those lessons I made sure the students interacted with me and made the lessons interesting using real life examples. The students enjoyed learning with me and overall enjoyed the subject. To make the lessons comfortable, I would give them 10 minutes in the lesson and they would tell me about their day and how school is treating them. Just so they can be comfortable and unwind before we start the lesson.
As a private tutor, I would make sure the students understands the core content of the subject then move on to key ways to answer exam questions to get top marks.
On a weekly basis, the student will be given a task to complete to show me that they can answer questions in an analytical way.
I will also motivate the student if they struggle. I am patient and I can explain concepts over and over again until they understand.
I will also provide key study techniques and notes that will help the student.
