With beginner students, I begin with present tense conjugation and provide an extensive verb list including irregulars which are necessary for conversation. My main approach entails providing my students with a wide range of vocabulary and advising them on how to familiarize themselves with it. My lesson plan would progress to cover all the other tenses, including a lot of conversation in order to ensure that their oral skills develop. Of course, my lessons will include an aural element to ensure that my students have a well rounded understanding of the language. Overall, I will ensure that my lessons provide a fun and achievable route to learning Spanish and to retaining new vocabulary everyday.
