I have been tutoring psychology (from GCSE to postgraduate) for almost 10 years. Working with students in the UK & overseas I have specialised in tailoring online sessions to suit each student since 2018. I mainly cover the AQA & CIE curriculums but have also tutored OCR & Edexcel.

For GCSE & A-level, I tailor each session to the student to enhance their knowledge & understanding. This is particularly focused towards weaker areas which are identified through checklists, questioning & discussion. Short-answer questions are used to ensure students use key terms & have knowledge of key & supporting studies. Sessions include topic content & evaluation which is supported through discussion & demonstration of how to answer exam questions to enhance understanding. Homework is set to consolidate this knowledge & feedback provided.

For university students, I offer support with essays & research projects specific to each assignment/exam. This includes correct formatting to meet the criteria for each assignment/project including essays, posters, research reports, leaflets etc. Having achieved a 1st class honours with the Open University, I have an excellent understanding of the trials of distance learning helping most of my OU students to attain distinctions for their work.

Whilst I do some face-to-face tuition, most sessions are carried out using Zoom, MS Teams or ClassIn although I can also offer Adobe Express & Google Classroom. I offer a free 45-minute session for students wishing to try online tuition.
