Katie Houston

I studied English at University and subsequently have had a long and successful career in teaching both in-school and online. The majority of my students have been relatively young and usually fairly new to the English language, however I have also taught older children with much greater proficiency.
My lessons comprise a mix of phonics, reading, comprehension and games. There will be plenty of opportunity for the student to speak English and we will work on perfect pronunciation and grammar. I like to get to know my students and use their interests as a basis to create bespoke, interesting, engaging learning experiences.
