I have a 1st class BSc in Psychology with Criminology and a Merit MSc in Health Psychology. I am currently looking into doing a Professional Doctorate in order to become a registered Psychologist in the subject area of Learning Disabilities, complex needs and Pharmacology. I currently work in healthcare and have been since I was 18, I have experience in teaching my own company in various subjects and I am a mentor to my colleagues.
I like to use real life case studies and examples in order to make Health and Social Care and Psychology easier to understand, I will break it down then put it all back together to ensure it is well understood. I also have plenty of files and notes from university that I can use if they were to benefit you and your learning. Otherwise, we will make our own notes specifically for you.
I will plan lessons dependent upon your level of needs and learning style. I will cater my sessions around you - I won’t teach you something that you do not need as this is a waste of time. We will build a professional relationship where respect and trust is established and we can work together effectively. If English is not your first language then I can help you with this also, I am a Native, despite my Irish accent! I can also cater to disabilities and although I prefer Online tutoring, I am open to in-person if suitable.
