I provide a holistic, multisensory approach, whilst creating a calm, kind and nurturing environment.
An initial session will involve a 'getting to know you' meeting and a baseline assessment for relevant subjects.
Each lesson will begin with a recap of prior learning, the main lesson content, finishing with a mini assessment to check skills and understanding, each lesson is tailored to a students needs.
I provide a variety of resources, for example, games, concrete resources and online platforms.
I aim to make learning fun, engaging and adaptable.
If working with children with SEND, I provide visuals, now and next timetables, brain break opportunities and more, to help support them in their learning.
I want students to feel at ease and confident in their learning space, unafraid to make mistakes and learn from them.
