I have over 25 years teaching experience; my primary field of expertise is history. I strive to make my lessons compelling by going beyond rote memorization of dates and events, portraying historical figures as “real” people, presenting events in the context of their time, and drawing parallels with contemporary issues to create relevance.

I also have experience in curriculum and test development, and Life Skills programs for Special Needs students.
