I am able to tailor each student’s lesson to what their learning needs are. In the past I we have used the students textbooks from school and talked through them, then created some activities to apply skills learnt. However textbooks are not a requirement. We can talk through the aims of the tutoring and then I can create activities to do to build on the skills and knowledge needed to achieve these aims in English. I may give a task for the student to complete after the session to revise and practice over what they have learnt. An example of an activity could be creating flash cards to learn the key grammar and words, if we are focusing on understanding English language skills. If students want a particular syllabus to be covered, just send me the details and I would be happy to help support them learning the topics.
