I believe the beauty of Maths lies in the fact that it is a game of numbers and alphabets combined. I have been tutoring for the past two years and have been a class room teacher of Maths for a year in a school in Wood Green. I start my lessons always with a retrival task, as it allows me to gauge where my students are at, and also lets me assess the mood of my students on that particular day. Often I have encountered students who face difficulties in solving basic arithmetic questions, and thus I make sure I am aware of all my student's weaknesses. As a tutor, I strictly follow the pace the student's are following in the school time, for I believe too fast paced education at home will only confuse them. I believe each student learn differently, thus I do not follow a one size fits all approach. My content delivery is dynamic, as some student like to solve the questions on their own, while some like to be guided through the lesson. I believe learning should be enriching and fun at the same time and therefore my utmost focus lies on making my students feel comfortable, relaxed and be ready to delve into the world of numbers.
