Hello, so depending on the student, I would use the first lesson to gather their strengths and weaknesses. This is really important, as we could then work together on your weaknesses to improve them! Then we would work on different stages until you feel confident with speaking and writing in English. I would set homework so that we can work through this at the beginning of each session. But the homework would have course have a fun element! I think it’s very important to read books to improve your English language skills, as you would then understand certain sentence structures and complex words (plus you would get to delve into a fantastic story). I would also make sure to that every lesson is fun and engaging. I would hate to make the English language boring to learn!

I also teach Music Theory and singing! I am an Opera Singer who has been studying music since the age of 10. I have my GCSE music, A-Level Music, BMus and Master of Arts degree. I would be very happy to help out any budding musicians. I would use the first lesson to find out a little more about your musical journey and what your goals are. I would then pinpoint what needs work and then we would take it from there.
