I'm a final year medical student but I have always been interested in teaching. I have 7 years' experience in tutoring GCSE (Sciences, Maths and English) and A-level subjects (Biology) alike, as well as personal statement help.

I strongly believe in adapting lessons to meet the individual's needs. I always want to foster a warm learning environment so that pupils are comfortable asking questions and getting things wrong as this is the best way to learn and what differentiates private tutoring from school as lessons are focused on the success of one individual.

My lessons are often a mixture of covering technical aspects of the curriculum, discussions to encourage wider, critical thinking and exam practice.

I like to incorporate visual learning a lot in the form of diagrams and analogies to encourage conceptual understanding.
