I am a patient, caring, and hard-working teacher. I cater my classes to different ages, levels, goals and personalities. I am happy to work with any age. I am happy to work one-on-one.

I have an ESOL PGCE from the Institute of Education and a CELTA certificate from SKOLA School of languages in Soho. I have an upper second class honours degree from Royal Holloway, University of London. I have a BA degree in French and Spanish. I also have an MA by research in Spanish literature from Royal Holloway, University of London. I taught an adult beginners class in Spain. I have also worked with women from Somalia and Pakistan. I taught a 16-to-18 year olds class and an adult class at my local further education college. I have also tutored a student privately for two years. I taught Chinese children online for four years. I am currently tutoring three students with a charity both face-to-face and online. In the past, I have also worked with teenagers. I taught in summer schools with Italian teenagers.

In the past, I volunteered teaching English as a foreign language with a 16-year-old learner from Chad. I also volunteered as a teaching assistant with a homeless charity NOAH. I also supported five children with their reading with the charity Bookmark. I am currently volunteering with a local charity, telephone befriending an older lady. I have many interests.

I can work face-to-face in the Hertfordshire area and online. I charge 20 pounds an hour.
