I adapt my classes precisely to the needs of my students. After a thorough analysis of level, goals and interests, I plan a mixture of reading, listening and video comprehension exercises with questions and discussion, as well as extensive grammar training. I keep lessons varied and lively, looking at current affairs and subjects that particularly interest the student. Lessons can be focussed upon a particular work matter, or academic studies, or everyday English. I use role-play to practise telephone conversations or job interview scenarios, for example. I am very experienced at teaching business English, however I have also taught general English and exam preparation. My 'Received Pronunciation' or RP accent is easy for students to understand and reproduce.
