I am a qualified teacher with 15 years of experience in education. Engaging, professional and fun educator with a passion for differentiation and an understanding of a variety of learning styles. I believe the core to learning is finding the excitement and passions of a child and working with them to ensure a genuine understanding of the who/what/when/where and whys of learning. I will help your children to really grasp those concepts that just haven't quite clicked, YET. We will build resilience, and with my experience of the curriculum I will work to find the best fit for you and your family.
We will work using the curriculum framework and resources from Whiterose maths, PlanBee as well as years worth of tricks of the trade to get your child in a position of confidence!

Kate has a warm kind approach to teaching. She's did wonders with my 7year old son who lost the passion for reading due to the covid gap. He also struggled to understand mathematical methods, which she was able to deliver appropriately for him. My son was happy and keen to have his weekly sessions with Kate. Who was on time and approachable if I had any concerns.

Kates help with my daughters dyslexia was incredibly vital with her school work. Betsy was struggling with focusing and keeping up with the rest of the class. Since her lessons with Kate , Betsy has improved tenfold and is a much happier little girl at school. Thanks Kate you have made a HUGE difference !
