Hi, I'm Kate and I am a qualified EFL teacher with over 16 years experience of working with adult and teenage students from all over the world.

My online lessons are delivered using the Zoom platform and are based on your specific needs. We work together to identify your strengths and weaknesses and agree on an action plan that we will work through together. I choose materials that are appropriate for what you are working on, and encourage you to constantly review and reflect on your progress to ensure that you improve. I believe that learning happens both inside and outside of the classroom, so I will give you materials for self-study as well as techniques to be a more active learner and make English a part of your daily routine.

As a former IELTS writing and speaking examiner, as well as an ex-Cambridge main suite speaking examiner, my main area of expertise is preparation for international exams. Having taught exam preparation for the major test preparation centres including the British Council and IDP, as well as for international universities, I understand the best ways to help you maximise your scores. While my specialties are IELTS and Cambridge, I can help with a range of international exams, including PTE, Language Cert and Duolingo.

I am also an accredited professional skills trainer and experienced in delivering courses in areas such as meeting skills, email writing, presentation skills and report writing. If there is an area you need to work on for your current or future job role, I can help you.

Lessons can be delivered 1-1 or in a small group if you have friends or family with the same goals. I am currently on a European timezone and run classes from Monday to Friday.
