I am a qualified teacher with years of experience both in schools and privately tutoring. I aim to make my lessons engaging and stress-free to allow the students to increase confidence, motivation and academic progress whilst not feeling like 'just more homework'. Each lesson is tailored specifically to the students needs, in order to address any gaps in their learning and work at the pace that is best for them. Students will have the opportunity to learn and practice new skills whilst revising what they are being taught in school. Each session comes with feedback for the parent/guardian about how the student is doing, as well as next steps and additional practice learning if wanted. I have wide experience working with SEND children and will adapt my teaching style to match the learner's needs.

Subjects available for Years 1-8 include: Maths, Reading, Writing, SATs preparation, 11+ and entrance exams, and phonics. Other subjects also available upon request.

I offer lessons both online and in-person (Dorset/Bournemouth/Poole area) and have potential for both 1:1 and group sessions. I have availability after school and evening, or I can offer sessions during the afternoons for homeschool/flexischool children or alternative provision.

- Extensive knowledge and experience of SEND and Mental Health

Sessions start at £35 per hour, which includes:
- Lessons planned specifically for the learner, focussing on the topics they need to cover and the activities that most suit their learning style
- All session resources provided
- Assessments of their current level in order to ensure ongoing progress
- Detailed feedback provided to parents after each session, including next steps
- Extra resources/worksheets given to be completed at home in between sessions, if wanted
