I have experience with young children and young teenagers as part of my summer cricket coaching. I was an assistant coach, devising drills and encouraging involvement within groups of 30 children but also on a 1-1 basis. I am predicted A*A*A in Biology, Chemistry, and Maths respectively at A-level, whilst also achieving 2940 in my UCAT and a and 3A in sections 1, 2, and 3 of the BMAT. My lessons will be completely adapted to the pupil - I don't believe in a one size fits all argument as all pupils are different and learn in different ways, at different paces. I understand how challenging and stressful the exam process can be and want to facilitate others as much as possible. I want to give back to the community and help others by using the tutoring that I had, to help them achieve the grades that they need with as little trouble as possible. I am a big believer in past exam questions and looking at mark schemes as they tend to hold the key to unlocking grades. I see no reason to waste time in teaching the pupil what they already know and also believe in setting work to allow pupils to reflect on what they have learned while also keeping it refreshed for future recall. Tutor-pupil relations are of the utmost importance to me - it is not right to overrule the student's wishes and teach them something else as it derives them of engagement, and often the student knows best what they struggle with. My motto is practice, practice, practice, and with me, I believe your child can reach greater potentials.
