I will follow the Cambridge Syllabus for English Instruction for overall structure, but I am a great proponent of the use innovative learning solutions. Depending on where your weaknesses lie, I will prescribe contemporary reading or listening/watching assignments in addition to any suitable interactive tools to help you grasp the intricacies of English.

My teaching plan will depend on your comfort & confidence and I am patient and supportive in your quest to master the English language.

I have taught both languages and technical content to a variety of students across a variety of backgrounds and have universally favourable reviews as an instructor. If you are a working professional, I will tailor my instruction to best suit your route to professional success. Similarly, if you are a student, I will ensure that at the end of your course of study with me, you will be very well prepared to handle academic rigour, regardless of your level/field of study.

A specific element of instruction I am particular about, is Contextual reading/writing. I have found that even the most competent users of the English language often struggle with contextual comprehension (in other words, reading between the lines). This is particularly so when contending with nuanced textual content and communications, as can be seen often, in Emails and other electronic correspondence.

My courses are meant to be short in duration, and fun to work through. You won’t need to work with me for more than a few weeks to achieve your linguistic goals!
