I carry out a needs analysis in the first lesson so we can plan a specialised English programme to address your specific learning needs. Targets are set for the student each week and any written work they produce is marked and graded (band score for IELTS). I have taught in many countries around the world and have great cultural awareness and understanding. I like to keep my lessons fun, but also relevant to needs of the students. Teaching all ages, from infants to adults, has given me a broad spectrum of teaching skills. The communicative method is the approach I use mostly, as this encourages students to use the language they have learnt. This also cuts down on teacher talk time.
