Karinate Okiy

I have a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the prestigious University of Lagos, Nigeria. I also hold a Master of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Leeds, United Kingdom in addition as well as a Postgraduate certificate (D.A.S) in Process Engineering from Sorbonne University, Paris VI, France. These trainings have helped me to develop strong knowledge in key scientific principles and the ability to effectively communicate this information to others.

In addition to my formal qualifications, I have experience in tutoring students in the computational sciences-MATLAB programming. My focus is to create a fun and interactive learning environment that encourages students to engage with the material and get the most out of their learning experience. I believe in providing students with the resources they need to succeed, so I endeavor to develop learning materials-PowerPoint slides that supplement classwork and exam preparation.
