I am CELTA qualified and teach children up to adults of all ages. I keep my classes as fun as possible by using a wide range of medium, such as; games, video, music, and drama. I am passionate about helping people improve their language skills and boosting confidence. I try my hardest to take a holistic approach to my teaching, by aiming to learn about your personal learning style and accommodating that as much as possible to make to feel comfortable and show you that you are being heard and understood.
I have lots of varied experience ranging from teaching toddler classes in libraries, private tutoring in homes/public spaces, group classes with primary aged children (including those with special educational needs), to teenagers and adults of all backgrounds, including in care homes and prison. I have an extensive background in working with charities and organisations that support refugees, asylum seekers and economic migrants. I have taught ESOL to families, individuals and unaccompanied minors that have experienced particularly turbulent and traumatic events. In recent times, I have worked often with refugees from Syria, Sudan and Eritrea, but have and still do teach and work with the Latin American community.
I have an ever changing timetable, so will always endeavour to accommodate your schedule, and am prepared to travel to most areas of London. I prefer to work in public spaces, such as libraries and community spaces.
Aside from teaching English, I teach children Spanish and Capoeira, am an Interpreter and Facepainter!
