I have taught French and German for over 16 years and I have also given personal tuition on a one to one basis for this length of time. I also work as a Modern Foreign Languages tutor in a secondary school in Suffolk, preparing pupils for both the written and aural aspects of GCSE examinations. I have seen my students achieve success which they felt was not within their reach and see my role as a mentor and coach.

My lessons are always focused on the individual needs of the student and I teach in a way which is informative, enjoyable and always upbeat. I constantly devise creative solutions to convey difficult concepts. I draw from examples from everyday life and I use visual images a lot to help me teach.
If you have problems with the GCSE curriculum, I can help, as I have a through knowledge what is required by various exam boards.

I also teach adults and I am happy to work with companies. My postgraduate qualification was in languages for business.
