Karen Magaro

My name is Teacher Karen. I have been teaching & tutoring students online for 8+ years. Before I taught online I taught K-5th grade in a classroom setting for 12 years. I am experienced in teaching all elementary subjects.
I get to know each student and I develop my lessons with each student's hobbies and interests incorporated into the lesson. I want my students to enjoy learning. I bring in many resources like Videos that are designed for each lesson. I have interactive material so it's not just fill-in-the-blank worksheets or activities. We will go on Virtual Field Trips to watch the jellyfish at the Monterey Bay Aquarium or See the Polar Bears at the zoo. My classes are full of surprises and yes you will learn and have fun at the same time.
You might meet my Dog "Churro" he loves sitting in on my classes. I will let him know we have some new students on the way.
