I have 23 years experience using a range of different teaching strategies with a focus on personalising learning. I always try and relate any concept with every day as well as daft examples to make learning more fun and relevant. Exam technique is a crucial skill which is an integral part of my work with students not just part of revision sessions. Use of revision guides rather than text books, flash cards, mind maps, videos and whiteboard are used during Zoom sessions as well as discussion and “student as the teacher” - I don’t typically do “talk and chalk” unless a student requests this and then it’s done in short chunks.
