Karen Álvarez

Hello there!
My name is Karen Álvarez, I am Argentinian and I am a MFL teacher. I have been a teacher of languages for almost ten years. I teach Spanish and English as a foreign language.
I have tutored students to sit for language international exams and university entrance exams.
I hold a degree in English Language teaching and a Postgraduate degree in Spanish teaching.

My classes are to the point and very personalized. My experience in educational environments has shown me how to spot strengths and weaknesses in students and help them put strategies into practice to achieve their goals and dreams.

I have worked in all levels of the educational system. From young children in primary school, to teenagers sitting for language exams. I also teach adults who want to learn languages for different purposes, either to advance in their career, for fun or because they are planning to move abroad.

My classes are challenging and demanding but also a place to relax and feel comfortable. I believe that only when we feel at ease our brains are ready to learn new stuff!
