My experience with studying chemistry is about understanding the subject more than learning and memorising. Understanding the subject and its contents will enable you to more efficiently remember content and will deepen your interest in further research. I teach my students to do as much past paper questions as they are all similar from year to year so therefore practicing many past papers will get you well prepared for the exam. I have seen this method as the most successful way for students.
