Hello! After traveling to Latin America, I fell in love with languages and being immersed in other cultures. I decided to teach English as a Second Language and Spanish because it aligned with my passions and I could do it from anywhere in the world. I have 10 years experience teaching individuals and groups, children-adults. I am certified through the University of Toronto, Canada to teach TEFL and have a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish from the University of Missouri, United States. At our first class, I will ask your goals, needs, and motivations for learning the language. Then, I will build on the previous material we learned in each future class. Through my education and experience I have learned that repetition and consistency are key in retention. So, I will give you some material to work on in between classes and you can dedicate the time you are able to each day. I have also experienced that it is important that student enjoy the process, which is why I will find the method that works best for you- whether that be conversation, reading, listening to music, a combination of all of those, etc. I hope to see yo soon!
