I am an incredibly passionate mental health worker, and strive to become an effective, compassionate and diligent clinician.
I am enamoured with, and everything about psychology, and at the risk of sounding boring, it’s what I am about!
Education
I currently hold a Masters in Clinical and developmental Neuropsychology, and have a Bachelor’s degree (HONS. BPS accredited) in Psychology, both of which I achieved a first for in my thesis/dissertation. I achieved high grades across all my modules and even tutored some of my peers! I admit I was a bit of a nerd!
With this knowledge and experience I fully intend to progress to a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology next September. I also have continued my CPD/PDR by undertaking a course on Solution Focused Brief Therapy outside of my role, and continue to learn about a variety of therapeutic techniques outside of paid training.
My area of expertise/interest lies within clinical and developmental neuropsychology, with a particular leaning to neurodevelopmental diversity and psychology, I have undertaken extensive research on ADHD and autism, and these have informed a large proportion of my own papers, research and understanding. I have undertaken training courses and seminars and do so as and when I can to bolster my knowledge.
