My empathetic personality allows me to cater to diverse learning styles. When introducing new scientific concepts to students, simple explanations are often the best explanations.

For example, it may be easier for students to process and remember phrases such as 'higher pressure, higher temperature ... lower pressure, lower temperature' when explaining that pressure is proportional to temperature.

The genetic code can be simplified for those who do not understand it, by comparing this code to four blocks of Lego. Each Lego block would be a different colour. The blocks could be used to represent different nitrogenous bases within a DNA molecule. My simple explanations are followed up with experiments or dramatisations.
