I like to interact with my students lots and ask a lot of questions to keep the sessions interactive and less boring. I like to use a variety of resources including quizzes and exam questions. I cover any content the student wants but I am familiar with the English exam boards and tailor my lessons to fit these specific exam boards and use relevant resources. I am also able to adjust lessons to fit students needs if there are specific topics they would like to go over. In my experience teaching and passing on knowledge is very rewarding and I take pride in sharing my knowledge with my students who need it. In terms of lesson structure I always plan a lesson beforehand on a specific topic that the student can suggest or I can decide based on my experience with the subject. I try to fit in lessons that are suitable for every type of learner such as visual learners or auditory learners. I have previous experience in tutoring kids from the age of 6-16 so can adjust lessons based on the level the student is working at. I also appreciate hobbies and interests and can base lessons around this. For example if the student has a passion for football I can create questions around football to keep the student engaged and in my experience allows them to interact more with the questions and attempt to solve them.
