My lessons are adapted and dependent on the students needs and what stage they are on but generally speaking in regards to Science GCSE I would teach topic by topic followed by formative assessments and Summative assessment to ensure they are fully equipped before they sit their final exams.

For key stage 2 SATs it’s reading and Maths for the first week and Grammar, Punctuation, Spelling and Maths again for the following week.

Formative and summative assessments to continuously check progress and addressing gaps in knowledge.

I am also an examiner for SATs and GCSE Science AQA which has helped me understand key mistakes students make during exams.
