*I'm enjoying being a tutor seeing the progression of a student is rewarding. With the cost of living impacting everyone up until December I've decided to offer the first 2 lessons for free.
Of course it's your choice if you then choose to hire me. However I'll do my to help my students thrive.??

*I'm enjoying being a tutor seeing the progression of a student is rewarding. With the cost of living impacting everyone up until December I've decided to offer the first 2 lessons for free.
Of course it's your choice if you then choose to hire me. However I'll do my to help my students thrive.??
I'm somone who as your tutor would like to get an impression of what you find challenging and where your strengths lie so I can get a better understanding of how best to support you.
From my experience, there's several resources I'd recommend that'd help you study , and complete questions more efficiently and prepare you for challenging questions.
Lesson format wise, I think you let me know what unit you'd like to go over at least 3 days before, I can support you with any questions you're working on in from your homework or private study. Beyond that, we can work through some questions together from the resources I'd recommend, I can set an informal " homework" where you'll basically just do as many or as little of the questions from resource I suggest then I can look over them and give my worked solutions if there's any mistakes. :)
Obviously we'll have our objective of getting you the result you want, however I want there to be a relaxed dynamic so you feel as comfortable as possible and you're you can ask me questions at your leisure with no judgment from me. :) If you want to go over the same thing we just went through that's what we'll do. If you need to go over it again next time? That's what we do. ?? It's about getting you the results you want.:)
We've all got our own strengths and weaknesses, if you don't ask a question you won't get your answer, everyone's in that position:)and if I don't know what you're struggling with I can't help, which would be my job ,so please ask away!:)
Whilst I've consistently achieved the top grades with my own studies,I've had limited experience with tutoring so far, however from that experience ,I think it's important for me to cater to your own style of learning as much as possible I think we're all unique. E.g. some of us learn with diagrams, some with more in depth explanations some with brief bullet points.
I think it'll also be useful to look at different methods for solving the same problem so can choose what you'd prefer to use.?? Beyond I can give my own basic tips that helped me out in my own studies.
Practising questions though- whilst it can get dull I know - is useful for sure, practice does make perfect and I can say from experience it really is worth it. There's nothing like going into an exam and thinking " hey I can this question!??" Especially when they're worth a lot of marks.exams can be nerve wracking enough,so reducing that feeling is definitely ideal. So I'm happy to try and work through as many as possible with you.:) I do love a challenge, so bring on the high marked questions. :)
I'm currently based in Andover and Whilst I'm more than happy to travel to even surrounding towns beyond that may not be practical. However in that instance I'm happy to provide online lessons. If you're a parent of a younger child I'm more than happy to have the lessons supervised or to answer any questions prior to potentially being hired. Much the face to face in person approach. However ultimately it's about support my students so if online is the only feasible option that's what we'll do.
