I have been a tutor since September 2022. The lessons are completely unique to each student and based on their needs. Resources needed in the lesson would be handed out/emailed prior to the lesson. Before lessons even begin we would make a list of all the topics the student is struggling on within that subject and a timetable would be made to nail each topic before exams. Consolidation would be made at the end of each lesson and each lesson would be structured, usually 50% content then 50% exam-style questions, this ratio would change closer to exams. The lessons would mainly be to solidify and nail topics that the student struggles on however before exams, revision sessions and content sessions would also be delivered if the student wishes. Lessons could be presentation based on powerpoint or textbook led depending on the students preferences.
