I have tutored at my after schools homework club helping GSCE and A-Level students understand complex Chemistry problems and ideas in relatively short periods of time, I have also been tutoring my younger brother for several years in a variety of subjects and believe I have the skills necessary to effectively tutor anyone regardless of age and ability.Chemistry is a problem solving subject, and most students as a result run into problems from being unable to apply rules or simply misunderstanding how those rules work. Chemistry is not just about memorization and therefore my approach is to find the areas students are particularly weak at and improve them to a satisfactory degree by giving lots of example problems and explaining where they are going wrong and how to improve. Many different types of materials can be used but I have found that past papers and especially the Alyn McFarland student guides help a ton when trying to revise and understand concepts.
