Leveraging past and present working experiences, I teach sustainability science to students and mold them into responsible citizens, environmental stewards, and visionary leaders.
Over the past twenty years, I have taught a variety of courses including marine biology, cell biology, fisheries management, aquaculture, ecology, limnology, ichthyology at tertiary institutions. I welcome the opportunity to expand my teaching beyond marine biology/science and aquaculture, and would be interested in meeting students with a variety of backgrounds and learning needs. I always try to treat each student individually and address their problems directly.
Learning should be fun and applying or simulating knowledge to real-life situations provides the deal platform.
I am highly proficient with PCs, Microsoft Office Suite and virtual meeting platforms such as Slack, Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Google Meet. I regularly use Canvas to improve access to resources and learning assistance in order to provide evidence-based learning in teaching.
