If you have knowledge of what needs working on? That's perfect. If you don't? We can figure it out together. My teaching style is to first speak to the children and listen to them so together we can figure out their preferred way to learn. From there, I'll tailor my explanations and teachings based on ways they enjoy learning. Does your child learn visually? We'll give everything we learn a more visual example. Does your child learn better when we can relate the content to their interests? We'll use their favourite characters or scenarios in our questions. And if we cant figure out a way to learn together right away? We'll try different things, until one sticks. Children's minds can be complicated, and often people will give up, but I put in the work until we can find a specific learning style for each individual.

We'll use past resources for their current education level alongside using some i'll have created especially for them. The usual format will be showing the child examples, then we'll do some problems step by step together, giving them the opportunity to ask questions; once they're comfortable, I'll have them do a question or two independently whilst i'm close by just in case they run into any problems. This can of course change depending on the child or how much time we have in the sessions.
