While completing my GCSE in Maths within the recent years, I am aware what methods of teaching are best suitable to understand any unfamiliar content, leading me to achieve a Grade 9 in maths. I would prioritise the child’s areas of needs and how they best process new information to craft all sessions, whether this being visual, acoustic or kinaesthetic. It should be noted that I have worked within a school environment in my breaks between University semesters. This experience means I am familiar with the role of academically helping students as this is just as important as intellectual ability. The content of the sessions would be based upon the students weaker areas to strengthen these issues before exam season while also rehearsing all areas to ensure that it is retained.
