My typical lesson is fun and enjoyable. I normally start my lesson by introducing the topic using the basic concepts or real life that makes the student relate and understand what the lesson is all about. After the student has internalized what the lesson is all about, I then move to the actual concept and here I have divided my lesson into the theory and practical. On the practical part, we are able to perform an online experiment with the student and he/she is able to follow. I do ask the student as we continue with the practice to ensure that he/she is following the experiment. After the student has understood the lesson, we then move into the theory and the student here is able to relate what we did practically with what is being explained in theory. Before the end of the lesson, I give the student some questions which we do together. In the last 10 minutes of the lesson, I give the student a small quiz of 5 marks and this normally tests the student's understanding of the concept and the whole topic. At the end of the lesson, I normally share the lesson notes with the teacher for my students who in turn share them with the students. If there are two or more students in my class but in the same grade, I try to give each of the students individual attention so that they can enjoy the lesson and understand the challenging areas that I noted during my assessment.
