I have extensive experience teaching students across all levels, including Key Stage 1, 2, and 3, as well as GCSE, A Level, Functional Skills and Degree-level courses,I have implemented innovative teaching strategies that promote active learning and critical thinking. For instance, I utilise technology and multimedia resources to create dynamic lessons that resonate with students. My experience in preparing students for examinations has equipped me with the skills to develop targeted revision programs that boost confidence and performance.
I pride myself on my ability to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment where students feel encouraged to express their ideas and explore complex themes within literature. My strong communication skills and empathy allow me to build rapport with students, fostering a positive atmosphere conducive to learning.
I hold a BA (hons) in English and History as well as a PGCE in Education. I am committed to continuous professional development and I regularly presented and attended workshops and courses to stay updated on the latest educational practices and methodologies to ensure that my teaching remained relevant and effective.
